Shania Twain is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She was born in Ontario, Canada on August 28, 1965, as Eilleen Regina Edwards. She was born to Sharon and Clarence Edwards, who later broke up. While she was born in Windsor, after the divorce, her mother moved to Timmins, alongside her two sisters. After being adopted by Jerry, their last names were changed to Twain. A violent relationship existed between the parents due to a low income. Twain's talent seems to emerge at a younger age.
